About Angélique Garcia

Angelique García, BSE, CFCP, CFCE, has been the director of St. Joseph FertilityCare Center and Practitioner Education Program in Albuquerque, New Mexico since 2003. Angel worked as a nurse for 14 years, specializing in gynecology, & high-risk obstetrics. She received a bachelors degree from the University of New Mexico in Health Education in 1991 and trained as a Certified FertilityCare Practitioner in 1993. She continued training to become a Certified FertilityCare Educator in 1998.

As of 2026, she has conducted 27 European Education programs, in England, Ireland, France, Portugal, Spain, Austria & Belgium. She conducted the first Practitioner Education Program in Hong Kong, Peoples Republic of China in 2018. She was the 26th President of the American Academy of FertilityCare Professionals and served on the AAFCP Commission on Accreditation for 10 years.

Angel married Steven Garcia in 1990 and has 3 adult children & 1 granddaughter. Angel & her husband, who was ordained as a Catholic Deacon in 2025, have worked in marriage ministry for 36 years, through Marriage Enrichment & Engaged Encounter, promoting NFP as speakers throughout the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. She was the NFP Coordinator for the Archdiocese of Santa Fe for 15 years and is a member of the Catholic apostolate, Regnum Christi.
